Manufacturing of Briquetts

Process for marketing finished products

  • Material like mustard husk saw dust, groundnut shells and all other raw martial up to 5mm size are supplied to the screw conveyor end.
  • When more than one martial is used they are mixed in suitable proportion.
  • If the martial has over 10% moisture it needs to be dried by Sun.
  • Martial from, conveyor is discharged in the kupy with the help of conveyor, veram and gear.
  • Martial discharged from the kupy with the help of veram is stored in the feeder box.
  • Martial in the feeder box is compressed by the press by forcing it through tapper die (ram punch) fitted in the die holder.
  • The compression raises the temperature of martial softening the lignin which is inherent in every bio mass. The lignin comes to the surface and binds the materials tighter.
  • Briquettes formed are in the shape of logs which are pushed through cooling tracks under slight pressure for cooling and transport to storm point.
  • Cooled briquettes are broken & packed in bags or stored in bulk for dispatch.
  • Briquetted fuel has some special characters it can not withstand direct contact with water so in rain season storage facility or covering with plastic tarpaulin is required.
  • Maximum attainable temperature is 80C to 90C due to low carbon content.
  • Facility of training to the customer’s operator art our R&D plants.
  • Quick after sales services.
  • Ready stock of wear and tear parts.
